We had the pleasure of dining at Sauce, one of Griffintown, Montreal's newest culinary additions, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel like regulars. The restaurant beautifully preserves the historic charm of the building, blending it with a light, airy design and a lovely outdoor dining area—a perfect backdrop for a summer evening. What truly set the tone for the evening was the personal touch from Paul, the bar manager. He stepped out from behind the bar to greet us with a handshake and genuine hospitality—an increasingly rare gesture that made a lasting impression. He then crafted the best Cosmopolitan I’ve had yet in Montreal, flawlessly balanced and elegantly presented. The appetizers were not only fresh and delicious but also substantial! For the main course, the veal chop was a showstopper: perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. Sitting at the bar gave us a front-row seat to Paul’s cocktail artistry. Each drink was a masterclass in mixology—creative, consistent, and perfectly paired with the meal. His attentiveness and skill elevated the entire experience. We ended the evening with an incredible dessert, the perfect sweet finale to a wonderful meal. Sauce is a true neighborhood gem, inviting, and clearly run by people who care about creating a memorable dining experience. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for wonderful dining experience with a personal touch.

What a wonderful restaurant! Loved everything about this service, food and atmosphere. Yelling all my friends in Calgary and Vancouver that this is the number one place to dine for a culinary adventure in Montreal!
