Govindas has been serving Sydney for over 40 years, earning a reputation as a beloved local institution and one of the city's first plant-based restaurants. This not-for-profit restaurant offers a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with an all-you-can-eat vegan and vegetarian international buffet. Signature dishes by long-time chef Karana Krishna Das include coriander channa dahl, crispy cauliflower pakoras with chilli chutney, kofta in house-made tomato sauce, shepherd's pie, baked penne pasta, fresh salads, and lightly spiced vegetable curries. Open Thursday to Sunday from 5:15pm to 9:30pm. Buffet prices: Adults $32, Children (3–12) $16.90. Dessert and non-alcoholic drinks are available separately (no BYO). Movie tickets: Adults $24, Concession $20. Payment is made on arrival, not when booking.
