Located on High Holborn, close to the British Museum, the restaurant is elegantly designed and filled with original Indian art and antique furniture including century old items made for Maharajas which take diners on a journey through Indian culture and history. The menu reflects regional accents with a contemporary viewpoint. It is food that observes the established traditions of Indian cooking but breaks the rules a little by Executive Chef Sohan Bhandari. Our menu goes beyond a 1970’s “Curry”, beyond street food and into a world of real Indian flavours. Our signature dishes include our traditional lunch Tiffin, Khaati Rolls , Colonel Saab’s smoked lamb shank and figs poached in Assam tea cognac.The bar is a great meeting place and afterwork destination serving signature house cocktails created to compliment the menu. Service is always great here! Honestly I’ve historically found Mildred’s a bit mid but tonight the food was exceptional. The only thing I struggle with is the condensing of humans into a small restaurant. Quite difficult to enjoy the space being rammed in.

The best vegetarian meal I’ve had in London. Everything was so tasty. The staff were friendly and unobtrusive, and the seating and noise level were very comfortable. I booked on a whim and can’t wait to go back.
