Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. The seating times are 5-6:15pm and 7:45-8:30pm. Stefano's Diner is owned by Michelin recommended Gia Restaurant.Our plant based menu includes classic Italian fare: Focaccia, Mozzarella sticks, Baby Gem Salad, Meatballs in Sugo, Arancini, Lion's Mane Steak, Chicken Parmigiana, Buckwheat Rigatoni Bolognese, Plant based sandwiches on house made ciabatta, and the city's best plant based Smash Burger with bacon and blue cheese toppings.     Comfortable dining setting with an innovative vegan menu. Felt super welcoming in here & every dish I tried in the tasting menu was interesting, flavorful & nicely presented. Really glad I stopped in!

    The food and drink were amazing as always. We went for the special Mother's Day brunch and it was a fantastic mix of flavours. Our kid was floored and loved each thing we had, they were especially into the focaccia and ravioli. Service was excellent and host was extra sweet and remembered us from last year.

    Enjoyable outing at an energetic resto, with service staff dialled in to customer service. Come for the food. Meat eaters, fear not: This night off of meat will give you the opportunity to explore the creativity of this menu. The tastes (watermelon and eggplant in sushi? Broccoli? Cauliflower?) kept on coming. We ordered the matcha cheesecake (four spoons) just to see the range. Rely on your server to get you the right amount of food.
