- AArmenvipNew York City •19 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoBeautifully decorated space with ambient lighting. A comfortable quiet oasis in the midst of the chaotic atmosphere of the Theater district. Helpful and attentive waitstaff. Quick service though the restaurant was not busy when we ate. Nicely present plates. I had the hunkar begendi. The meat was tender. The eggplant puree could have been a little more smoky but otherwise delicious. My partner had the stuffed cabbage and enjoyed it. The latter was a nice proportion. The dessert of kunefe was very good. I have eaten there three times and not been disappointed.More infoTurkuaz RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Turkish• Midtown West•4.8

Our party of five had the zucchini pancakes and falafel appetizers and the lamb chops, swordfish, and lamb shish kebab entrees. The warm seasoned bread is addictive. For dessert, we enjoyed the semolina cake and vanilla ice cream that had a hint of pistachio. Our server was personable and attentive and the ambience is lovely.More infoA La Turka RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Turkish• Upper East Side•4.5
- JJeffreyvipNew York City •85 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 23, 2024A very enjoyable experience at ABA Turkish. A wide selection of appetizers and main dishes made it a bit difficult to choose but everything we ordered was fresh and hot. We tried both the pistachio and walnut baklavas for dessert and favored the sweeter pistachio. The wine list is limited, but the fact that you can bring your own bottle - without corkage - solved that issue nicely. Definitely a restaurant that we will keep on our radar, even with the somewhat noisy atmosphere (even at the early 5:30 hour - on a Saturday - that we arrived).More infoABA Turkish RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Turkish• Midtown West•4.2
- IIRANew York City •16 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 28, 2024What a find!! In a small strip-type mall on River Road in Edgewater, Tosun checks every box. The food is authentic Middle Eastern, of high quality and tremendous value. A four kebab platter for two with sides and bread and bread and salad was just $85 and there was enough left for lunch for two the next day!! It's BYOB, so there's even more savings there. Highly recommended!!More infoTosun Mediterranean CuisinePrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Edgewater•4.4
