Best Traditional Mexican Restaurants in Escandón/San Miguel Chapultepec

Absolutely delicious food, lovely service, but portions are massive! The coconut shrimp entre could’ve fed 3 people, and they all come with salad, fried plantain, rice and assortments. So order carefully! We could barely finish the dishes we ordered, and took some home.

Loved everything about Porfirios. The service, the hospitality and the delicious food and salsas were absolutely amazing!

An extraordinary space - very grand and elegant with the food and service to match. Clearly a hit as it was packed. As an old restaurant hag myself I was very pleasantly surprised that the execution for a relatively new operation was spot on. Congrats to owners, management and especially staff. Great job and really a place not to be missed when you're in CDMX.

It is getting to expensive. The portion of the fideo seco was really small and the flavor was not that good while the pulpo a las brasas was espectacular.

Overall the ambiance and service was welcoming and beautiful. The margarita cha cha cha was too smoky for me. The sauces were too much (too rich and too soaked) for me on both of my dishes. Desserts were great
