Food was amazing and the service was great. We liked the surprise and the ambiance was nice.

Really excellent food and a lovely atmosphere. Reminded me of going for Sunday dinner at the local by my parents as a kid and eating at the small tables really meant for drinks, but the food was incredible. The stand out was a mussel toast with langoustine bisque, it was insanely delicious and I could have drank the bisque! Staff were friendly and explained the menu well, and I loved that we got a mustard menu to pair with our ham!! Only complaint would be the small tables for sharing plates makes the table crowded, and it was a bit pricey for a pub but the quality of the food did justify it.

As always, an excellent and varied menu, expertly prepared, well served and delicious!

All the staff were great, much better than a couple of months ago and the changes they have made to them really shows. Polite, smart looking and friendly. Food came swiftly, hot and tasty unlike my last visit when it was cold, burnt and slow. Great to see the improvements. Front of house was professional and approachable. We’ll be back
