Best Tapas Restaurants in Sunnyside

Had a great experience at Gyu-Kaku! The food was fresh and flavorful, and we had fun cooking everything ourselves right at the table — like our own little Hotpot adventure. The ambience was warm and intimate, with a low noise level that made it easy to actually enjoy conversation. The service was excellent — the servers were super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for a chill but interactive dinner night.

We had such a great experience. It was smaller than I expected, however, it was full and still didn’t feel like it was noisy. Food was great and Tapas were much larger than we expected so it was perfection! Our server Gio was phenomenal and very kind. Gave thoughtful and honest recommendations on his preferences. All around would go again and again.

Food was excellent. Especially grilled octopus and calamari. The chef brought us food. He was very friendly

We were greeted warmly and led to a comfortable and cozy spot not far from the fireplace. Our party of three had plenty of space for ourselves and our work bags. It was 4:30, so it was still quiet, and we enjoyed a cocktail hour together before heading downstairs to dinner.
