Best Tapas Restaurants in Council Bluffs

Great food and environment. Not a large menu but great food.

This was our first visit to Ghost Donkey. It was difficult to find the way in as there was no indication that we had to go into a different business to get to the restaurant. Once we were seated, everything went smoothly. Our server, Jase, was amazing. Our dinner date was a long awaited girls night and also celebrating my birthday, so we were lively and he matched our vibes. He was friendly and attentive. He was ready with suggestions for drinks and food items. We had a couple appetizers and I had his recommended carne asada quesadilla....my two friends had the mushroom tacos and the carne asada tacos. All three of us were in love with our food! If I had any criticism it was that the meals seemed a bit pricey, but the food was so delicious it was worth it! Will definitely recommend and will definitely go back!!!!

Our waitress was very attentive and we were celebrating my birthday. Food NEVER disappoints. Also, get in my belly breakfast Sammie. If you aren't wanting hot (Sriracha aioli) I'm sensitive to spicy. Ask for cream cheese on sammie as replacement. You will not be disappointed. 🤩 At the end the waitress came out with sparkler and mini bottle of champagne. I was so stunned, I was not expecting that. Also shout out to bartender for being mc and putting on lizzo for my birthday song while bringing out sparkler champagne. 10/10 Always! Love this place so much!
