Best Steakhouses in McMurray

One of our best dinners, we go once a year with our kids at Christmas time. We had the best server and never needed a thing no complaints. Two adults and two teenagers, Our dinners and our server were better this year than any other.

Four of us went for happy hour and then dinner. We had the Brussels sprouts, fried deviled eggs and the sashimi tuna which were are great. Shared the beet salad, the shrimp gumbo (fabulous) and the porcini truffle ravioli (also wonderful). The pear martini, my friend said it tastes like fresh pears and the espresso and pumpkin espresso martinis were very generous pours and great flavor. We will be back!

This was our first visit to Del Frisco’s and it won’t be our last. Our server, Jake, started the dinner off right, with great energy and enthusiasm - he made great drink recommendations with little information to go on (I had no idea what I wanted and he absolutely nailed it), and did a great job of managing my food allergies in a way that didn’t make me feel like a burden. There were a few menu items that I couldn’t eat because of my soy allergy, but the alternate suggestions were fantastic. DO order the octopus - though the portion was small compared to everything else, it was still shareable. And definitely do the butter cake at the end - I expected it to be “just a pound cake,” but somehow it was magical! The atmosphere was upscale but not fussy - another plus - and considering it was Thanksgiving, the staff seemed to run like a well oiled machine, without any extended wait times for refills or our meals. The food and service were both amazing. We went for the first time for our 20th anniversary and definitely plan to go back for special occasions. We noticed how well the staff worked together as a team to make the service top notch.
