- CCarolLondon •1 review4.0Dined 3 days agoThe starter of French onion soup and the dessert of crème brûlée were both excellent. The main courses were good. The lemon sole was cooked very well but the new potatoes would have benefited from about a minute extra cooking. The duck confit was also good but definitely needed the extra chips ordered. It was opening day and very busy. We will go back.More infoBordelaise SurreyPrice: Moderate• French• Epsom•4
- AAndyCumbria •2 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoHaven’t been out to eat in Reigate for ages. Chose this one, as had watched John Torode Argentina meat journey travelog recently and wanted to experience a meat feast myself. The rib-eye was delicious. Better than home cooked Morrisons best any day! Medium rare, asado flavours outstanding (don’t know if a real asado, or just a good grill). Chimichurri was delicious and had a kick to it (the one I had made at home was terrible, even though from an internet recipe) Greeting was welcoming, place was lively already at 6pm (v hot summers day), servers were relaxed and personable, what more could you want? Maybe place needs a decorative refresh perhaps - cowhide bench seats showing they’ve been ridden bare - but maybe that’s what Reigate gauchos are used to. I’d say, best QUALITY food in Reigate. - OOlydenLondon •1 review4.0Dined on Jun 24, 2025Buenos Aires Richmond Review Standards High, But not in all areas Please congratulate our waitress Juliana for a Job well done. I criticised a restaurant last week for nickel and diming and sneaky £inclusions. I thought i maybe being a bit too picky, but then young Juliana showed how it should be done. She firstly asked if we wanted still, sparkling or tap water. And when I needed help choosing one of the many Malbecs, she suggested what she thought was the best, even if it wasn't an expensive one. The waiting time from ordering our drinks, to receiving them, was usually long. I'm not sure if it was something to do with orange juice issue, i will talk about later. The new improved Buenos Aires Burger was great. I'm not usually a fan of Brioche burger buns. But it worked better than the pitta bread one before. I was surprised with the size of the restaurant and the amount of seats available, there being only one toilet cubicle for men and one for women. If you're bursting to go to the toilet and one person is already in there, you will have to stand and wait. Unfortunately for Buenos Aires Richmond, freshly squeezed orange juice is my favourite nonalcoholic drink. Despite charging me £4.50, they gave me a large glass full of ice and water with what seemed like a shot of orange juice, which I could hardly taste. It seemed like they didn't have enough or any orange juice. So they decided to squeeze a couple of oranges into a glass, then fill with ice and water. I mentioned in my booking, it was our anniversary. However, there was no acknowledgement of this. This poor offering was inconsistent with the high standards displayed in all other areas. It would have been better to either say we have no orange juice or to quickly pop across the road and pick up a small bottle of tropicana and pour in a glass.More infoBuenos Aires Argentine Steakhouse - RichmondPrice: Expensive• Argentinean• Richmond•4.8
