"We didn't know what to expect when we arrived, so when we walked in to see it pretty empty we were hesitant. We did arrive before 6pm ( our reservation was for 5:45p) which might be one reason for the emptiness. My first impression was the open décor, and the modern look and feel to the place. It was very tasteful and lovely. We were seated somewhat in the back, which was fine for me because I could watch the kitchen a bit from the window. Our server was amazing. She was knowledgeable, kind, very prompt with service, and provided the most helpful suggestions with drinks and during service with suggestions of different sauces to dip our grilled meats in. The salad bar was a surprise, an amazing surprise. I was floored with the quality of the selection. Normally it's the same old humdrum, with the same layout; but this salad bar looked chic, and had some really tasty and different items on there that you don't necessarily find. The prosciutto was the only "iffy" looking item in the bar, but I think it had more to do with the type, because it tasted great but looked a little dingee. But, everything tasted fantastic. My husband recommends the lobster bisque with 11 out of 10 stars. Then we started the meats. I loved the little discs on the table that you flip instead of a block of colors to indicate when you are ready for the meat selection, it's a little more discrete. Let's talk about the meat. FANTASTIC, is all I can say really. It was well seasoned, it was cooked to perfection (not a dry cut to be seen), and the smells were mouthwatering as they walked by and to your table. My favorite was the beef ribs. If I could, I would have asked for the entire plate that the carvers were carrying around. OH, I almost forgot about the little basket that they give you for that delicious cheese bread. Though it is a little pricey, it is well worth it. We are planning on going again at the end of the month."See more
