Innovative fine dining take on Sri Lankan food with unique and delicious dishes. Lovely broth at the start as well as the seafood with curry sauces, the meat for the main was very tender and full of flavour. Great dessert to finish the meal off. The service was informative and attentive, atmosphere relaxed in a beautifully designed space. The only criticism would be the closely arranged tables, which meant that conversations had by next door tables could easily be overheard and the staff would sometimes crowd into your space. Otherwise it was a good experience worth a try.

The restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was very spacious. They had a good variety of food.

Great flavours and superb staff - really friendly, helpful And funny (but in no way overfamiliar, just really lovely). Will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu; would just say it’s a bit expensive but that was the only downside.

We always enjoy our visits to Colombo Kitchen. The food never disappoints, beautiful flavours, well presented, always a joy. The service was exceptional on our last visit. Our waiter was very attentive and looked after us soo well. We will always recommend Colombo Kitchen.

It was a hot afternoon and they did not put the a/c on . Instead had a noisy industrial fan . The appams were cold and soggy . Sent back . By the time fresh hot ones arrived the food was cold ! But the appams were perfect crisp and delicious. As was the aubergine . Will definitely check if they have the a/c working next time . Great potential as authentic food . But location and management lets it down.
