Best Spanish Restaurants in Trujillo Alto

It was such a delicious meal. We had the pulpo , smoked spinach croquettes and the swordfish special for apps. Then ordered the Filet mignon, which I thought was just ok, but the lamb tagine was amazing. I forget the name of the dessert but it was like french toast. Delicious. Drinks were excellent as well!! Definitely give it a try.

Food was incredibly good, they forgot the kids order and end up eating last. No complains because the food quality was yummy.

Dish after dish one better than the previous. We had as appetizers cod croquetas, piquillo de cangrejo and the wine chorizos, all amazing. I had the pear stuffed raviolis with shrimp and walnuts the best dish I’ve had in a long time. My friends had the surf and turf and the ribeye. The lobster tender and fresh, but the quality of the meat was good but not top. Do not leave without trying their caramelized almond bread pudín, it was something else!! The service provided by Michael and Gonzalo was the beat with attention to every detail. Great wine selection also. Loved the placed. Will become one of my regular places for sure.

Wonderful dining experience. Server explanations and suggestions were spot on. Appetizer of Octopus carpaccio was excellent. It contained pickled fennel which is now one of my favorite flavors! My halibut was amazing. My wife said the branzino was the best she ever had. The design of the restaurant space was very interesting. Sort of modern Spanish. Highly recommend chef Reyes’ restaurant.

We’ve been looking for a good tapas place in the neighborhood for years. Really happy that Catalina opened. We had the chorizo in red wine, camerones de ajillo, steak cap & stuffed pork. Would order everything again but maybe not the pork. We will be back to surf the rest of the menu. Good diversity of offerings for cocktails and wine as well. Love the Essential Water from Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷
