Best Southwest American Restaurants in Turtle Creek / Oak Lawn

While I missed visiting this restaurant years ago, it was worth the wait on our latest trip to Dallas. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable ( I am a stickler for food & service having trained staff for a 5 star chef years ago.) The chef went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergy with a personal touch. We had 3 courses and each was delectable. Overall, this was one of my top dining experiences in years.

The wait service was great up until the end. They brought out deserts with no refill of water. The deserts did not look like they were made in house. The crust on my apple pie was burnt. I guess char is the acceptable thing now for all foods. The place was beautiful. They had an Asian inspired art museum that was part of the attraction but it had closed before we were done eating so we were not able to visit it. If you arelooking for a beautiful, new experience with nice enough wait staff, this is the place.

It was a unique experience! Every dish was delicious in its own way. The contrast of textures and the harmony of flavors that did not overwhelmed each other, were extraordinary. The introduction of the cocktails and dishes was skillful and highlighted the importance of the ingredients… it was nice to hear the story narrated by the creators!! The attendants knew their business and maintained their Position during the entire event. They took care of all the details even used a cloth to protect from spills when serving water. Events like this should be organized more frequently!
