Built circa 1820 as a grist mill, The Old Mill Inn is a newly-renovated historic, waterfront, adults-only (18 years+) bar and restaurant on Mattituck Creek, located on the North Fork of Long Island. It serves classic American fare with a fresh local twist such as fish & chips, crispy squid, oysters, cheese burgers, and seasonal local vegetables.The past and the present collide inside the historic bar room (serving seasonal craft cocktails, wine and beer-on-tap) where the mill's original gear shaft stands among the wooden ceiling beams signed by past patrons, dating back to the late 1800s. The new owner received the award for Historical Renovation of the Year from the Long Island Preservation Society in 2024.
