As always, the food was phenomenal, absolutely 5 star. We shared the Wagyu bites to start. It's a very peppery dish, but very good. Our three pastas were excellent--prawn gnocchi, carbonara, and rigatoni. House wine list offers good choices at a decent price. Why isn't it perfect? While we were halfway through our starter, our mains arrived and were crowded onto the table. We weren't in any way ready for them. Better course pacing would have elevated the experience. And, our server had to go to the other side of the table to take one person's order. She couldn't hear the order from across the table. If you are having a hard time hearing us, we are also having a hard time hearing each other. We agreed -- the music and general sound level were way too loud. Regular conversation was difficult. Great food, but overall a 3.5 to 4 star experience, which is a shame -- it could and should be better.
