Best Seafood Restaurants in Point Breeze

The food was excellent. We went to the Gandy Dancer first and had apps and drinks. Carly, our waitress was outstanding. Then we went to Grand Concourse for lunch. Food was very good and again we had outstanding service from our waiter Jason. We really had a good time, group of 7, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered including desserts.

We visited Eddie Merlot’s this past Monday, They were very busy for a cold Monday evening and we overheard one of the staff say that they were short staffed but the service we received from Marissa W was outstanding. She was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. Our glasses never went empty, she checked on us often and made time to have great conversation. Marissa should be considered one of your best servers. The steaks were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The carrot cake was exceptional as well and finished a great meal.

We had a pleasant evening and enjoyed the service and food. We had to change our plans a little since the valet moved to Oliver Street. However, after dinner this did give us the opportunity to admire the building itself.

I had the pleasure of dining at Del Frisco’s tonight for Pittsburgh Restaurant Week, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! I dine at Del Frisco’s frequently because I’m such a big fan of the restaurant, but this time was extra special. I brought my sister and her husband to dine with us for the first time, and they were absolutely taken with the atmosphere and charm. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff, and the entire team made us feel welcome throughout the evening. The menu was thoughtfully crafted, offering an impressive variety of dishes that highlighted the restaurant’s culinary expertise. My sister and her husband were equally impressed with the menu, but the true standout was the exceptional quality of the food. Every dish was perfectly prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. A special shoutout to our server, Brandon, who deserves special recognition for his impressive performance and lovely personality. Brandon’s attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and genuine enthusiasm truly elevated our dining experience. The managers also checked on us frequently to ensure everything was perfect, which was much appreciated. Del Frisco’s has truly outdone itself this time. You’ve just earned another customer in my sister and her husband, who are now excited to become part of the Del Frisco’s family. Well done to everyone involved—from the staff that greeted us, to the talented chef, to the table staff, and especially to Brandon. Thank you for making this evening unforgettable!

Our waitress was excellent and the food was delicious - filets were perfectly done to each of our preferred style. The peppercorn sauce and/or truffle butter toppings were wonderful. Would definitely recommend one or both. We had the shrimp kisses for a shared appetizer but weren’t huge fans of them. Dessert was crème brûlée and apple pie. I switched out the cinnamon ice cream for vanilla bean and it was so good.
