Best Seafood Restaurants in East Lyme

Very good food. A little pricey. I had the halibut which was delicious. The crab cake appetizer was great--so much meat. Key lime pie was generous and delicious.

Went for my birthday dinner last night. Food was delicious as always and service was wonderful. The menu was revised from the last time we visited and prices seemed a bit high. It was a special occasion, but it would be nice for them to have a few more affordable options to choose from. Most entrees were $35-59.00.

Celebrated my wife’s birthday and had the the cheese board, the lobster roll and pork chops. All were outstanding! It was a quiet night and the seating by the harbor was perfect. It was wonderfully romantic setting.

A memorable evening at the Halyard. The server was professional, knowledgeable, and engaging. The food was thoughtfully prepared, uniquely presented, and delicious. Looking forward to our next visit.

We met up with a childhood friend of mine and his girlfriend for a wonderful lunch on a snowy Saturday afternoon. The host greeted us with enthusiasm, and our waiter was a pro. We never felt rushed… there’s a lot to catch up on after 50 years! The food was absolutely delicious, and our table was in a wonderful spot overlooking the bay and the gentle snowfall. It’s hard to imagine a better Saturday afternoon in Newport. We even celebrated our waiter’s recent US Citizenship after living here for 20 years. It was awesome!
