- TToddTahoe / Reno Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIt was a beautiful day at Lake Tahoe. My guests hot dishes got cool because they were out on the Pier taking photos for too long. The Shrimp Lobster Bisque was delicious. The Chef graciously allowed us to Order a dinner item if we agreed to substitute a side dish as the Risotto was not prepped for lunch. All in all a fun half day excursion. Alternative: Try the “Water Bar” at the Sparks, NV Marina as the owners are the same, the menu is 80% identical and a few dollars less per item.More infoGar Woods Grill and Pier RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Californian• Carnelian Bay•4.6
- MMarkVIPAlabama •16 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe chose to eat here twice this trip because the first meal exceeded expectations. We chose French Onion Soup as well as Lobster Bisque soup. Ahi Tuna starter with a side of wasabi was delicious. Prime rib (12 or 16 oz) chose the 1ib cut and it was very good served medium rare. Firestone Mind Haze IPA was a welcome choice at this Caesar’s Entertainment property.More infoFriday's Station Steak & Seafood Grill - Harrah's Lake TahoePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Stateline•4.7
- GGlaciaSacramento / Sacramento Valley •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy husband and I had dinner here for our anniversary. Jeremy was our server. He was prompt in greeting us. He shared the specials for the evening. He gave suggestions/ shared with us his likes. He was very attentive, while carrying a full section and a table who was needy and grumpy. Jeremy never skipped a beat or let anyone throw him off. I could see that the entire staff worked well together. We were greeted with smiles upon arrival. We were given a booth per our request. Our food was cooked to perfect temperatures. The sides could’ve been larger portions but were overall very tasty. We started with the Butternut Squash bisque and Caesar salad. For Entree’s we had a filet, lamb and the elk… all which were cooked perfectly (medium). In addition for sides we had Mac and cheese, Brussels and Au Gratin potatoes. We ordered two deserts which were a lava cake and I wish I could remember what the other was. It was suggested by Jeremy and WOW was it amazing. He also surprised us with an anniversary ice cream which was yummy as well. Usually my husband recognizes when I’m watching mistakes at restaurants but this was not the case here. I do the training in a fine dinning restaurant at a casino in Sacramento and I had zero complaints. This was the first time in many years that every single point of service was met or exceeded expectations. My husband was blown away by everything. Thank you to the entire staff for making our night special. We cannot wait to return!More infoSage Room - Harvey's Lake TahoePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Stateline•4.4
- TThomasVIPLas Vegas •56 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoReally enjoyed Six Peaks! Stellar service with Luis (IIRC), he was super attentive and never left us needing for anything. Food was 5 star across the board - Caesar salad with tasty dressing, we both got the 8oz filet mignon cooked perfectly, and the fingerling potatoes and balsamic brussels sprouts - all fantastic! We brought our own wine and corkage was in line with standard pricing. Overall a wonderful meal and setting and would come back for sure! Beautiful hotel and property as well. Piano man playing the whole time was a really fine touch.More infoSix Peaks GrillePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Olympic Valley / Squaw Valley•4.4
- JjenniferVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •65 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 16, 2025We have recently discovered Sunnyside and are making it our "Home Away From Kitchen" place. We love the rustic, casual interior. Stephanie, who has been our server twice, is warm, accommodating and oh so competent. We will always ask for her. My WA state Cab was really nice and my husband enjoyed his beer. He had the Caesar, which came with the anchvies that he requested. Great dressing! I had the Buddha Bowl with salmon, which I may order every time for the rest of my lift. The vegetables are roasted so nicely, and the pickled vegetables have a great crunch and flavor. He had the Yak Bolognese. It was flavorful with big papparadelle and plenty of parmesan. He would have liked bigger chunks of meat, like a stew, but that is not a bolognese. We didn't have dessert but saw an enormous piece of delicious looking cake go by. Love this place!More infoSunnysidePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Tahoe City•4.4
