- GGeorgeAsheville / Western North Carolina •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWide selection of fresh oysters, delicious. The "bachelor" cocktail was refreshing and tasty. Beautiful presentation on the white fish paté. Monkfish entrée was a little disappointing. The shittake mushrooms served with the hanger steaks were especially tasty, as was the steak. Very pleasant atmosphere; even though the place was full, it was not noisy. Seated promptly, and waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. We will come back!More infoThe Carriage HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Rye•4.9
- SSkipVIPGreater Boston •72 reviews5.0Dined on Apr 25, 2025We had a very enjoyable outing at Epoch last night. Our party of four booked for 6 pm. The bar and dining room were pretty busy when we arrived and throughout the evening. Our knowledgeable and affable server Jess took great care of us. We couldn't help but notice a couple of large groups that might normally put pressure on the dining room. We observed the staff helping each other out to share in bringing the service levels up to meet the demand. We were also impressed to see management rolling up its sleeves. Food and beverages were excellent. Knowing the restaurant's reputation for its salmon, all four of us ordered the savory dish. Epoch did not disappoint. We often find Epoch a great spot for Sunday brunch, but it should also be considered a hot spot for dinner.More infoEpoch Restaurant & BarPrice: Moderate• American• Exeter•4.6
