- RRonaldGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe went to Jonathan's to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had an outstanding experience at the restaurant. We were greeted by the host in a courteous and respectful manner. Our server, Jesus, set the tone for an enjoyable evening. He was attentive without being obtrusive. His knowledge of the menu and wine list was beyond reproach. He really seemed to enjoy his work which showed by the service he provided. The food was excellent and cooked to our preferences. We started with soup, my wife the lobster bisque and I the seafood chowder. These were delicious and set the tone for the rest of the meal. I had the fillet mignon which was perfectly cooked medium rare which I requested. My wife had the poached lobster dinner which she thoroughly enjoyed. She finished off with a slice of cheesecake which she said was terrific: I had a cup of decaf coffee!! The ambience was perfect for the occasion but would be great for anything. The noise level was quiet which enabled communicating without any problems. When one makes a reservation I would recommend that one asks for a table in the room with the fish tank. This makes for a restful and calming situation.More infoJonathan's - OgunquitPrice: Expensive• Continental• Ogunquit•4.6

- SShelleyMaine •1 review4.0Dined 6 days agoBeautiful setting. Ate at The Terrace dining area which is outside/ocean front. Our server was polite but we could never find him. Not sure if he was new or not. Menu for The Terrace was alacarte. Even a basket of bread for the table was $12. We ordered our food to which I requested a side of tartar sauce for my scallops. Dinner arrived by a different server without the tartar sauce. Our regular server was no where to be found once again. He never came to our table to see if everything we ordered was there. I finally found him and asked for the tartar sauce and again he disappeared for 13 minutes. By the time he returned I was down to one scallop. Yet, he charged us $3.00 for something I no longer needed. We asked for the dessert menu and he disappeared again for 10 minutes to which we decided to just leave and wanted our bill. That was another fiasco and after a long wait we finally got it. Now we give our card and check to another waiter just to get out. Next, another waiter who we didn’t even know gives us a different check to pay which wasn’t even the food we ate. We told him it wasn’t ours and he didn’t believe us. Now a third person who acts like he knows what’s going on returns with our card and check to sign. We couldn’t leave fast enough. Beautiful place but we won’t go back for food. The best part of the evening was the two young men working the Valet area. They were wonderful.More infoCliff House - TerracePrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Cape Neddick•4.5
