I had a fantastic birthday dinner experience at Ekstedt at the Yard. My wife and I booked the immersive experience and each dish was exquisite. The highlights for me were the slow smoked lamb, the oyster and the cep soufflé. We ordered wine by the glass rather than the pairings offered, but the choices by the glass were really solid. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent without being obtrusive. And to top things off, they did a special dessert and petit fours as a little extra birthday treat, which was delicious. All in all we had a lovely time and I would highly recommend Ekstedt for a special occasion.

Fabulous staff, really lovely food and superb wine pairing. I ordered vegetarian tasting (I'm allergic to bivalves so can't enjoy oysters or razor clam) and the courses were absolutely amazing. My husband had the regular tasting menu and loved it . We both had the Voyage pairings. Not the cheapest but for London, very good value in a part of town not too well served for fine dining. Can't wait to take my veggie and non-drinking friends!( they do an alcohol-free pairing from the mixologist at Hocus Pokus)

Fantastic bar, knowledgeable and friendly cocktail makers, made us brilliant drinks. Some amazing spirits on the back bar that are great value. Enjoyed the delicious sharing platter. Overall had a great time.
