An overall fantastic experience offering a true taste of Scandinavia. Fire, smoke, game, and forest fruits come together in delicious combinations, brought to London by the extraordinary team at the Yard (Ekstedt). Niklas’s innovative and robust cooking style evokes a warm, pleasant feeling, transporting you back to Viking times as the food is prepared and cooked over a wood stove and open fire. The atmosphere was friendly, and the service impeccable. We will return in the not-too-distant future.

Absolutely first class in every respect. The decor reminded me of the old Blakes restaurant with a modern minimalist twist. The food and service dare I say reminded me of the Fat Duck, obviously not as elevated as that (what is....), but I think its a fair parallel in terms of price relativity. Adam Simmonds is daring to be different with both his raw materials and flavours, and it all really works, really really well. The kitchen is focused and calm, the service is unstuffy, attentive and on-point. What can I say... just go. Go and enjoy something genuinely of class, that's fresh and exciting. Places like this need to be called out, celebrated, recognised and whole heartedly supported imo. Cocktails downstairs in Hocus Pocus... very cool... a definitive shout out to Greg and the team there too.

Fantastic bar, knowledgeable and friendly cocktail makers, made us brilliant drinks. Some amazing spirits on the back bar that are great value. Enjoyed the delicious sharing platter. Overall had a great time.
