We are a family run pub located in the village of Woodlesford just 6 miles south-east of Leeds city centre and is a stop off and refreshment point on the central section of the trans Pennine trail. Welcoming walkers and locals alike. We are also dog friendly. Newley refurbished the pub still retains its charm and character and the first thing you will notice when you arrive is a warm and family friendly atmosphere and our staff are only to happy to serve you. We serve food throughout the day in our dining area, there is also a sports bar and a function room with a large screen. Outside there is a heated covered dining area.

    First visit, based on good reviews and cookies. And not disappointed, atmosphere even though a quiet Saturday afternoon, was excellent, friendly staff and very helpful, good range of specials, focusing on fish in particular from regular supplier. Dog friendly, organised, clean throughout, a village pub with a professional approach. Parking was a little restricted but easy to find and will happily go again and heartily recommend

    Lovely service. We had Sunday lunch. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Loved the mushroom pie. Good roast dinner - chicken was best option.

    Great atmosphere. Staff friendly. Food was amazing, freshly cooked and came out all at once. Weren't rushed and atayed for drinks after.

    The place itself was very good, however they had not got our reservation even though I had a confimration email from Open Table. Fortunately they managed to squeeze us in.
