Tina and her staff were attentive and friendly. A good selection of food on the menu and the specials board. We had the special of king prawn cocktail, delicious, fresh with plenty of prawns. The mains were all served very hot on hot plates. I had the chicken platter, plenty of different types of chicken…I’ll certainly have it again! We weee too full for pud but it was a lovely place to have a catch up with friends!

Friendly staff & excellent meal! Great value for money

Fantastic helpful waiter arranged our roast dinner to come quickly as we were on our way to a family gathering. He could not have been more helpful. Sunday dinner was very nicely done indeed, couldn’t fault it at all. On a bank holiday weekend though, and with the sports screens, it was a bit rowdy and we were seated right by the constantly opening doors. On a quieter day it would have been more relaxing. It is a nice pub.

Overall a lovely evening. Staff were attentive and keen to please, couldn't be more helpful, with any minor issues speedily dealt with. Food was lovely and high quality. I'm glad we went for the three starter plate deal as the portion sizes of the main course weren't large, but I'd prefer quality over quantity any day, and the flavour range was excellent. Great pub standard dishes on offer with additional chef dishes on the new menu. Being a Tuesday night booking, the place wasn't packed and we could converse easily. Volume levels on the sound system went up significantly when the football came on the television, which wasn't really unexpected for a place with live sports I guess. Would I go again? Yes, absolutely. Looking forward to trying the carvery on one of the nights it's available.
