We enjoyed a very nice Sunday lunch here recently. The service from all the staff was excellent, especially from Jack. I had the roast beef which was fine, although I would have preferred to see the beef served more pink. I was looking forward to the apple & raspberry crumble, having enjoyed it on a previous visit, but unfortunately it arrived with strawberries substituted for the raspberries. This didn’t work for me; apples on their own would have been better in my opinion.

Excellent good and drinks all at a reasonable price. Food was well presented, tasty and served hot. Staff are friendly and polite. Been a few times now and this was the busiest I’ve seen it. Word is getting out about how good and reasonable this place is.

Nice meal again handy being near the Lancaster University to take our daughter out for a meal A bit busy in the bar area as a football match was on but everyone was friendly and staff polite and helpful Enjoyed our meal once again and the atmosphere 😊
