Friendly service, pleasant surroundings, good quality food. At the upper end of the gastro pub pricing spectrum but not an issue given the quality is there

Food was not the same as before? Was it under the new management? Service was excellent n polite too.

Booked a table for 2pm but they'd already run out of stuffing, soon after they'd run out of Yorkshire puddings. We were in a nice corner but it meant that we kept getting overlooked for service: no extra drinks offered and we asked for the dessert menu but it was over 40 minutes before we had our order taken - and that was only because we went to the bar. That said, the welcome was friendly, had a lovely garden, good choice of drinks and the food good. Would go back.

A wonderful old fashioned country pub, our first visit and a delight for all 4 of us

My fiancé and I had a lovely roast dinner at the Squirrel Pub in Farnborough on Sunday! Plenty of meat and potatoes, Yorkshire was cooked perfectly and lots of gravy! We gave it a good 7/10, lost points because the beef was chewy and the portion of veg was tiny! Bonus though is you can ask for more potatoes, gravy and Yorkshire’s for free! I personally would have preferred more veg. It was good value for money and a nice atmosphere even with the footy on! Would definitely come again.
