We eat at The Royal in Bolton le Sands regularly. We usually go for brunch or lunch with friends and it’s our favourite place to go. The garden is absolutely amazing. Love it. Today we took our Aussie cousins. They loved it too. Thank you 🤩

This must be the King of roast dinners. Everything brought to us was exceptional - including the starters. You won't be disappointed. Fantastic produce, beautifully prepared, large portions, AND reasonably priced. Best eating experience we've had in a long time - possibly ever. Fantastic surroundings and wonderfully attentive staff.

Loved it. Very quiet for a Saturday but the food was perfect. Food choice limited but you can see the menu before booking. My wife had the trout and I had the lamb both were just what we wanted and perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend very peaceful compared to most other restaurants in Keswick.

Nice meal again handy being near the Lancaster University to take our daughter out for a meal A bit busy in the bar area as a football match was on but everyone was friendly and staff polite and helpful Enjoyed our meal once again and the atmosphere 😊
