We live in the neighborhood and enjoy a great local spot to dine. Happy hour 3-6 is great as are the appetizers and other menu items.

Delightful dinner. We had a wonderful server and food was great for Petaluma. The coffee pot tiramisu was adorable.

I've had this place on my short list for awhile but was worried about reviews that said the space was tight and loud. My group and I found it exceptional in every way. The size was intimitate but didn't feel crowded. We loved the high ceilings and design of the space. The menu was varied and had fun options you don't see everywhere. The food was exceptional and they have a full bar. Back to Back is an exciting new addition to the SF dining scene and we will be back often!

Always a great experience and especially lovely taking our new 21 year old for a birthday celebration. They spoiled us!

The service is always exceptional. Our server last night, Max, was top notch. The food comes out as described and always tasty. I have only ever had an issue with the Brussel sprouts. Twice having been overcooked, but everything else is always spot on. It is always busy by the time we arrive at BJs (usually between 5:45 to 7:00) but we can always have a good conversation without issue.
