Best Pizzerias in Richmond

I've had this place on my short list for awhile but was worried about reviews that said the space was tight and loud. My group and I found it exceptional in every way. The size was intimitate but didn't feel crowded. We loved the high ceilings and design of the space. The menu was varied and had fun options you don't see everywhere. The food was exceptional and they have a full bar. Back to Back is an exciting new addition to the SF dining scene and we will be back often!

Thoroughly enjoyed mellow jazz, delicious found and pleasant courtyard with huge redwood in the middle. Good experience.

Always a great experience and especially lovely taking our new 21 year old for a birthday celebration. They spoiled us!

This may be my favorite pizza in SF. Something about the crust is unusually delectable. I also like the water / Bay Bridge view at this location. I am not crazy about the set up: you have to scan the QR code for a menu and order through a phone, which I find annoying. If you want to read the descriptions of the glasses by the glass, you have to click and expand to see each description and then go back to the main menu. Just give us a physical menu so we can easily see what's what at a glance. I would have ordered more, but I was too frustrated with the phone-based menu to bother. That said, I love the pizza enough to come here anyway.

Five of us had dinner on Father's Day--all family. There is a changing menu plus a menu with regular offerings. The pasta dishes with clams or mussels got raves as did the ricotta-spinach calzone which was cooked in a brick oven. Their caesar salad was crispy and served with slices of anchovies and perfectly crisped garlic croutons. This is the second time we've eaten at Passione Emporia and we will definitely go again.
