Best Peruvian Restaurants in Meadowlands

The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meal including my teens. Our server Juan gave excellent recommendations. I loved the decor although the music was so loud at 3pm and we had to yell to hear each other. This would have been an easy five star review if it weren't for the following ... when being seated I was asked if we were there to celebrate anything, I told them yes and that it was my husband's birthday. It was never acknowledged again, not even a candle in the dessert that we ordered. If you're not going to do anything to make it a special moment then don't ask me. I also asked for a children's menu and was told its on the regular menu. Fine. I later saw a server with a coloring page children's menu and crayons. Why wasn't that offered when I specifically asked for a children's menu. I also asked for a booster seat from 4 different people before getting one. That was the most frustrating thing for me. I'd consider going again but they need to work out these service issues.

The food was excellent, most of us had never tries Peruvian food before but everything served exceeded our expectations. The portions were generous, and everything was hot and fresh. Would definitely return and recommend.

One of the best Peruvian restaurants I've been to outside of Peru. Super fresh ingredients, great flavors, and superb presentation. The ceviche mixto was delicious and very fresh (they use mahi mahi rather than the"garbage of the sea" tilapia.) The chicha morada was not from a mix and was so fresh I could taste the maize. Appetizers and desserts (in particular the picarones) were fantastic. A little pricey, but you are paying for exceptional quality.
