The Salt Line - Navy Yard offers indoor STANDARD seating and OUTDOOR Patio Seating. Our OUTDOOR riverfront patio seating has been winterized and is now comfortably available all year round. The OUTDOOR reservations area has been tastefully enclosed in clear insulated curtains that still provide a scenic river view and is well protected, well heated and honored all weather. Additionally we offer FIREPIT LOUNGE reservations in our large outdoor bar area and first come first served bar, hightop and lounge seating. Please note: the Outdoor Bar area with hightops is covered and well heated but the fire pit and lounge seating is uncovered and so weather permitting. If your desired reservation is not available online or of you have any reservations questions please call the restaurant for more up to the minute information and assistance.     We had a fabulous Mother’s Day celebration. The food was delish , the drinks were invigorating and the service was wonderful . Natasha, our server was friendly, professional and a delight!

    Everything was perfect. From Happy Hour where my wife and 2 adult sons enjoyed blueberry-mint martinis and Cosmos, hummus, duck nachos, and calamari. Our waiter, Rod, was friendly, prompt, and really nice to work with. We then moved over to the other side of the restaurant for dinner. We had an excellent bottle of French Chardonnay and our son had a California Cabernet. We shared 2 salads—arugula and beet. Both fantastic. For the entrees, I had the grouper, one son had the steak frites, my wife and other son had the branzino. All were terrific, but I think the Branzino would win in a contest. For dessert, we shared the apple and blueberry crisp and chocolate mousse. Our waiter, Keif, was outstanding! Friendly, informative, helpful, engaged, prompt. We weren’t rushed, but the food came without delay. All in all, we could not have asked for a better dining experience!
