- JJohnWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoEverything was perfect. From Happy Hour where my wife and 2 adult sons enjoyed blueberry-mint martinis and Cosmos, hummus, duck nachos, and calamari. Our waiter, Rod, was friendly, prompt, and really nice to work with. We then moved over to the other side of the restaurant for dinner. We had an excellent bottle of French Chardonnay and our son had a California Cabernet. We shared 2 salads—arugula and beet. Both fantastic. For the entrees, I had the grouper, one son had the steak frites, my wife and other son had the branzino. All were terrific, but I think the Branzino would win in a contest. For dessert, we shared the apple and blueberry crisp and chocolate mousse. Our waiter, Keif, was outstanding! Friendly, informative, helpful, engaged, prompt. We weren’t rushed, but the food came without delay. All in all, we could not have asked for a better dining experience!More infoBlack's Bar & KitchenPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Bethesda•4.7
- KKarenWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHave been going there since 2012 and still our favorite place in downtown DC. Absolutely the best oysters in town and the best mussels dish ever - the mussels soaked in the most delicious source made from the perfect combination of garlic, fresh tomato, basil, white wine, and the secret source this local DC restaurant has - it is the dish that we must have every-time! No white table cloth, but the dishes are exquisite with perfect seasoning, portion, presentation, carefully selected herbs, fresh ingredients, and services are great with super friendly staff - we just kept going back to this place - the best oyster bar in DC!More infoPearl Dive Oyster PalacePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Logan Circle•4.7
