La Lucha has officially become one of my favorite spots in Houston! My boyfriend and I visited for the second time, and it was just as incredible as the first. We had the fried chicken, greens, chargrilled oysters, and biscuits, and everything was perfection. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned—truly some of the best in the city. The greens were flavorful and well-cooked, with just the right balance of tang and spice. The chargrilled oysters were smoky and rich, bursting with flavor. And those biscuits? Absolute heaven—light, buttery, and practically melting in your mouth. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, and the staff was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. La Lucha is a gem, and I can’t wait to come back for visit number three! Highly recommend!

I had eaten at the Clark's Oyster in Austin, but this was my first time in Houston. The meal was excellent! I had the Texas Redfish on the Halfshell. It was perfectly done and very flavorful. The Paprika Vinaigrette on the side was pleasantly spicy and an excellent compliment. The service was terrific; attentive and well informed, but not obtrusive.
