The Salt Line - Navy Yard offers indoor STANDARD seating and OUTDOOR Patio Seating. Our OUTDOOR riverfront patio seating has been winterized and is now comfortably available all year round. The OUTDOOR reservations area has been tastefully enclosed in clear insulated curtains that still provide a scenic river view and is well protected, well heated and honored all weather. Additionally we offer FIREPIT LOUNGE reservations in our large outdoor bar area and first come first served bar, hightop and lounge seating. Please note: the Outdoor Bar area with hightops is covered and well heated but the fire pit and lounge seating is uncovered and so weather permitting.     My party and I had a wonderful experience. The waiter by the name of Cinnamon wasn't our waiter, but ended up assisting us. She was very energetic and knowledgeable as far as giving us information about having further parties. We work a Sibley and we do plan on having something there all because she gave us great information. Kudus to Cinnamon

    Have been going there since 2012 and still our favorite place in downtown DC. Absolutely the best oysters in town and the best mussels dish ever - the mussels soaked in the most delicious source made from the perfect combination of garlic, fresh tomato, basil, white wine, and the secret source this local DC restaurant has - it is the dish that we must have every-time! No white table cloth, but the dishes are exquisite with perfect seasoning, portion, presentation, carefully selected herbs, fresh ingredients, and services are great with super friendly staff - we just kept going back to this place - the best oyster bar in DC!
