An early Mothers Day dinner with a friend and our 2 Uni student daughters and we had the best night! 3 hours of great food, drinks and laughs. Food was absolutely exceptional! We had the set menu for 4 people and i honestly could not pick a favourite dish between the oysters, the quail and the mussels. All delicious and simply but beautifully presented. Amazing cocktails, made by Kate - all delicious. Service was excellent. Central location. Decor was lovely. Subtle and understated. I would highly recommend this restraunt and hope to be able to visit again soon. Thank you for a very special evening.

Everytime I come here I get treated so lovely. I always treat myself rarely and when I do, I come here and I feel looked after and the service is 5 star plus. The food was delicious and the cocktails great balance of flavours. A great quiet night with great ambient lighting to make you feel relaxed.

Busy environment, suited best to younger crowd. Staff very friendly and efficient. Couldn’t be faulted . Food good to very good depending on dish. Angus steak and chips , and cabbage plus lentils excellent . Poached pears with ice cream good but very sweet (youghurt would have been better accompaniment than ice cream). Overall recommend but more of an excellent bar with seating than a conventional restaurant .

Lamb, mackerel and duck were excellent. Zucchini flowers okay. Wine expensive. Quiet at 6 but hard to hear across the table by 7.
