This is a fantastic place to eat and offers fantastic value for money if you dine during the 45% offer but the new menu has seriously affected its appeal if you are vegetarian. The main menu only offered one vegetarian option. The service is outstanding and the waiting staff are very attentive and it makes it is such a shame the mains are so limited for vegetarian/vegans which will unfortunately affect our desire to return. I think of the new menu needs a rethink. Even an additional halloumi & pepper ‘from the grill’ section would be good

Went to the Blue Fig with friends for dinner the other evening. Had walked past several times but had never eaten there. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service was very good. Our waitress could explain the dishes on the menu that we were not familiar with. But the food was the star, two of us had the seabass, which was perfectly cooked and came with an amazing avocado salad, our other friend had the chicken schnitzel which looked lovely. The presentation of the food was really appetising. We also ordered the Cajun fries as we were worried that seabass would need something extra, it didn't, but so glad we ordered them as they were amazing. We will definitely be back.

This was my first time at this restaurant, and I'm glad I decided to book my Christmas reservation there. From the time you walk in, the atmosphere is terrific, with the pink flowers and vines in the right locations and lengths. I was seated at a table for one close to the front of the house. It was a good location, and I could observe everything happening. My servicer ( I believe his name was ( Fab), but I'm unsure. He explained the Christmas menu and advised me to select the regular one as the appetizers were too much for one person to enjoy. His suggestion paid off, and I enjoyed the salad, somas, and Lamb Shank. I could not finish all the food as it was too much. I ended my wonderful meal with a mint tea, which helped ease my stomach. It was a great end to my vacation in Chelsea and my Christmas. I highly recommend this place. I will visit again when I return to the area.
