Best Southwest American Restaurants in Western Springs

I had colleagues in town and took them to Big Star for a casual end-of-day dinner. Instead of breaking the proverbial bread, we shared queso. There were five of us and a booth was perfectly conducive to conversation. The vibe and food were great.

Great food, good service, enjoyed our meal. The table we were at was a little bit small and cramped for the plates etc. but manageable. Staff friendly and food came out quickly. Will definitely be back!

From the hostess stand to our server Cesar and seeing the manager on duty walk the floor and oversee the front and back of operations it was such an incredible experience like I was back in the city! Great personal service and a sever who was a true professional and just “knew” what the guest needed. Thank YOU! To the manager who was not fazed by my spirited children THANK you for making me feel welcome and not judged. The food was very tasty and well prepared. If I was going to get back into hospitality, I’d apply here. Such an upstanding establishment and well trained. Thanks times 3. :)

Ryan was our server and he was excellent in his knowledge of food and very kind. He went above and beyond.
