- TtinaTampa / Central Florida West •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe love Blanco and we’re so excited to have one in Coronado. We went this evening to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived they took us to our table where we found a handwritten birthday card. Very nice touch. Our waiter was so nice and I feel awful that I can’t remember his name now. He was fantastic.. patient with my chatty boys, attentive to the looming end of happy hour, we didn’t have to ask for anything. Everything was delicious. My boys love the queso, they had kids taco and quesadilla. My husband had cheese enchiladas and I had the poblano shrimp enchiladas which we shared. This was the first time we had the shrimp one and it was very good! The creamy poblano sauce was not spicy but flavorful. They offered us a dessert of my choice for my birthday. We chose the tres leches cake and my husband ordered the flan. They were tasty and not over the top sweet. Always nice to know we will always enjoy our evening when we dine here.More infoBlanco Cocina + Cantina - CoronadoPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Coronado•4.7

It was like being in Baja, MX except we didn’t have to cross the border. The Casamigo margaritas, table side guacamole, steak tacos and steak burrito with extra beans was delicious. We will definitely be back. Excellent!More infoOrtega's A Mexican BistroPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Hillcrest•4.6

- MMelanieSan Diego •59 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024Definitely glad we made reservations! It was Christmas night and super busy! Our server was great. Food was good, got a Carnitas taco and it was gushy and had no pork taste. We decided it was pot roast not carnitas! Very disappointed. The white rice was interesting, never seen that at a Mexican restaurant before. Beans were good. The other taco I had was delicious! I think it was called the Gringo. I will go back just for that taco!! Overall it was a good night! We will be backMore infoCasa De Freds, Tacos y TequilaPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Old Town•4.5
