Really nice afternoon tea for my mum's birthday, selection of cakes and sandwiches was very nice and it was lovely and quiet so we could relax and chat.

I went for a meal on a Sunday as part of an offer on open table for 2-4-1 for set menu's. The food was very good - authentic flavours and dishes, good portion sizes and a nice selection on the menu. The service was very good and my friend and i were undecided re the wine and were allowed to try 2 before selecting our bottle. Only slight minus is we ordered a side of vegetables - we got a very small portion of steamed spinach at £12! not quite what I expected. It was a Sunday lunchtime and only a few tables there so a nice quite atmosphere. This is a hidden gem I think!
