Best Korean Restaurants in Lake Ridge

We sat on the lower patio for the first time and loved the view and more laid back atmosphere. We enjoyed edamame, spicy tuna on crispy rice, the Chef’s choice sashimi and Chef’s choice nigiri. The sashimi was some of the best I’ve ever had at Takato, or anywhere else! Our favorite server, Ilya, was taking care of the Oilers hockey team’s private event on the upper patio, but he made sure to stop by and say hello, and also was kind enough to send over a dessert. If you want great service, fresh sushi, and other delicious dishes, please come to Takato! It’s a must stop every time we’re in the area.

We have been to restaurants around the world and have eaten at many upscale establishments. Akira Back's food is the finest we have ever experienced. Each course was a masterpiece in taste. The service staff were abundantly attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a memorable experience worthy of the highest restaurant rating that can be awarded.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! You are going to love it, I promise! The food was amazing, Ray the owner made the experience even more memorable! It was my husband’s birthday and my entire party had an amazing time. We will definitely come back. My kids loved it!!

Portion sizes were a great value. Food quality was fantastic, probably the best beef bulgogi I’ve ever had. Our server was lovely and kept the bonchon sides coming…don’t sleep on the kale salad.

Great food. Great service. Reasonably priced. Would frequent if I was a local.
