A Truly Unforgettable Japanese Dining Experience Yokoya is hands down the best Japanese restaurant I’ve been to - and that includes my experiences in Japan. From the moment you walk in, you’re warmly welcomed by the incredible host, Yoko-san, whose genuine hospitality sets the tone for an unforgettable evening. Chef Makoto’s culinary skills are nothing short of exceptional. I had the Udon Wagyu and was absolutely blown away - it’s a truly unique dish I haven’t come across anywhere else in London. The depth of flavor, the quality of the wagyu, and the perfect texture of the udon made it one of the most memorable dishes I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for something truly special, I highly recommend trying the Kaiseki course meal. It’s a beautifully crafted experience - elegant, balanced, and full of surprising, exquisite flavors. Every dish felt like a work of art. Yokoya isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. An absolute gem in London’s dining scene. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent food and service! The only reason I did not give full 5 stars for everything was the noise level - I would have left out the background music which did not sound very Japanese, and then people would not have needed to raise their voices to be heard, which caused more noise. But the food is definitely worth going to the restaurant for, and the service was impeccable!
