Best Japanese Restaurants in Moore Park

That was the best meal I have had in as long as I can remember. The food was amazing. Not only delicious, but the presentation is beautiful. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and I couldnt think of a better way to spend quality time with my staff on a beautiful Sydney afternoon.

We have been to Zushi a number of times and the food is always consistently very good and happy with the service.

My partner and I were very excited to dine at Nomidokoro Indigo to celebrate our anniversary, which the restaurant was aware of as we indicated it in our reservation. While the food was delicious and ambience was great and felt authentic, we had some constructive feedback about the service. First, my partner is vegetarian and the vegetarian options were not pointed out very clearly by our servers. We understood that there weren’t too many veg options (as we checked the menu beforehand), but some more guidance from the servers would have been welcomed, instead of the lacklustre attitude we received. Second, we were told that last orders for food and drinks had to be placed 30 minutes before the end time of our reservation. We understood as there was limited seating in the restaurant but we couldn’t help but felt rushed to leave. Before this point, the servers also didn’t check in with us on the food or refilling drinks so it was too bad that the first touch point was to mention the time we’ll have to leave by. Lastly, while we didn’t expect to receive anything based on the fact that we were celebrating our anniversary at the restaurant, some extra attention to this fact would have been appreciated, especially as this was asked specifically when we reserved the table. We must note that we were greeted very warmly when we first got to the restaurant and the staff member also provided great recommendations to choose a sake, and set up the expectation of a lovely dining experience. But in the end, it felt more like an eat and go meal instead which was too bad.

We've been to this restaurant several times already and it has become one of our go-to places. My husband really loves it here, so we chose to celebrate his birthday at this spot. The staff were very kind.They helped us prepare a cake with candles and even played a birthday song. It was a lovely experience, and we’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommended!
