About miso ramen: In 1923, Chinese immigrant chef Mr Wang started work at the Takeya Café near Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan. His dishes were so successful that they were copied and in 1951 Ramen Alley in downtown Sapporo became nationally famous.     We enjoyed a meal before attending the theatre. Service was fantastic, everyone was very attentive and helpful. We had reserved a table outside but the area was well heated and we were very comfortable. The food was delicious and so beautifully presented. We enjoyed dinner and wine and made it to the show with plenty of time to spare.

    A great restaurant tucked away in the heart of docklands. When you enter you are mesmerised by the decor. The food was outstanding and the cocktails are to die for. Couldn’t be happier with my first experience here. Props to the staff for making it such a pleasant date night

    Delicious food & prompt service from very polite & friendly staff. However there were 5 of us & only one meal came out for one person which he had nearly finished by the time the rest of our meals came out. When the rest of the meals came out, they forgot one. Disappointing that we couldn't all eat together as that is why you go out together as a group. More wine/champagne options would have been good too.

    We had the special valentines set menu which came to $120 for 2 (plus 10% weekend surcharge), plus we opted to upgrade for an extra $6pp for an alcoholic beverage. The curry was absolutely delicious and the service was 10/10.
