Excellent sushi, tempura, and sashimi. Truly authentic food and generous portions. Very attentive and friendly service. The restaurant is small and furnished in clean modern style. I rated the noise level as high as we had a group of four american tourists conversing at a level that allowed to easily follow their conversation from anywhere in the restaurant- not the owner’s accountability. Overall we had an excellent dinner - highly recommended if you like Japanese cuisine.

We had a fantastic experience at Bonzai. We booked last minute as we were in the area visiting the london Zoo and attended with our baby. We noticed the noise level was slightly dark and the air conditioning was on too high and the staff turned it all down for us and made it comfortable for us. The food was sensational, I think the best sushi I’ve had in a while. The lobster bao buns were also lovely we ordered two. Bhuppi and Makunda helped us allot and Makunda also played with my son and was so pleasant. He also helped with our order and preferences ( no alcohol). Thank you for a fantastic experience and good food!

Great service, the staff were kind and accommodating. Highly recommend the chicken gyozas (fried), Korean fried chicken and katsu curry.

The food is of good quality - really beautifully presented and good portions. The thing that lets this place down is the haphazard service. Sitting us next L to the only other occupied table in an otherwise empty restaurant. As I’d booked I’d assume that’d factor in a comfortable experience. Not filling water glass in spite of several requests, to the point where I got up and helped myself. They weren’t busy, just distracted. Not the first time I’ve experienced quite poor service.
