Best Italian Restaurants in Gaien / Aoyama 1-chome

A wonderful find….the set menu was a great value and excellent. I generally avoid multi-course, fixed price options as they tend to have too much food, food that is not well prepared and/or food that is too finicky/fussy. This was an exception. The portions are perfect, the flavors outstanding, the preparation perfect without being ‘fussy’. The service was aLeo excellent and unobtrusive. The restaurant interior looks a bit forlorn, but the cheerful atmosphere and the excellent food more than make up for the simple, plain decor. They have a very good wine selection at reasonable prices; however, the real draw is the food. Highly recommend.

Amazing!! everyone from wait staff to chef was absolutely brilliant. Food was so creatively inspired. Felt so grateful to be able to get a reservation here while traveling in Japan.

Another fantastic dinner at one of my favourite neighbor hood gems. Excellent selection of antipasto, pasta, carne e pesce...Wines by the glass are well researched and pair nicely. Looking forward to my next visit. Ci vediamo la prossima volta...
