Best Italian Restaurants in Southern Highlands

We went to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We were seated on time. Decor is traditional with lots of photos. Service was prompt and courteous. My wife’s papardell Bolognese and my seafood Fra Diablo were fantastic. Desert was cannoli and spumoni also excellent. Piano was pleasant in background. Only complaint is no recognition of wife’s birthday even though they were aware. Still a great dinner overall.

Restaurant called me 2 hours before our reservation to say Open Table over booked and they needed us to either come in much later or sit at the bar. We chose the bar and it was cold and uncomfortable. We had a friend in from out of town and I couldn’t hear him. Food was great. Unfortunate they had a huge party coming in so we had to be bumped!

I took my wife here for her birthday. The food was excellent! The busser was super friendly and even though they were busy, he made sure we always had our drinks refilled. The server was nice, but we had a little issue at the end where she got mixed up and forgot about us. We had to go up front to ask for our check and were ready to leave a little frustrated. She did come up and apologize though and manager Carmen stepped in and more than made up for things. We weren't even trying to complain, but Carmen went above and beyond to take care of the problem and make sure we left happy. Excellent customer service! My wife had a great bday experience and and we will definitely be back.

We had Christiana as our server at the new Roma Kitchen on Decatur. She was fabulous. The food was yummy and came out piping hot. We started with the calamari and garlic bread. There were three of us all having something different (chicken parm, spaghetti & meatballs, pasta bolognese). All three of us were very pleased. We already picked out our meals for next time.
