Best Italian Restaurants in Sylvan Park & Sylvan Heights

We got there a bit early for our reservation so we had a drink at the bar. Then about 10 minutes later we were shown to our seats and had a delicious dinner. Definitely suggest the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer.

Service was decent. Had the braised short ribs and the salmon. My daughter and I split the two. The short ribs were incredible and the salmon was a little overcooked, but otherwise it was still delicious. Wish they would use an option besides soybean oil to cook the appetizers in, as I am unable to eat seed oils, soybean, or vegetable oils. Olive or Avocado would be a great option, please. I would have loved to try the appetizers.

Food was phenomenal! The group was all foodies and all agreed it was one of the best meals we’ve had not only this year but ever! Our server, ‘Steph with an F’ was a highlight as well! Definitely adding to our rotation!

My wife and I had a great experience except for sitting at the 2 person table upstairs wedged between the railing and another larger table. We were very cramped. Overall though we had a great experience and would come back if we can sit downstairs and get the full experience of the atmosphere.

We found Luogo's in the Gulch after visiting its sister, Pelato's in German Town. We were extremely happy with the beautiful, upbeat atmosphere and excellent service. The food was amazing; we especially enjoyed the Eggplant and Zucchini Pie appetizer and beet salad--both exceptional. We learned why it is touted as the No. 1 Italian restaurant in Nashville and highly recommend it. It's also very easy to find off the I-40 freeway with a direct exit to Demonbreun and short distance to 12th Street. The valet parking is right in front, but it was occupied when we arrived, so we ended up at paid parking around the corner (right side of restaurant). Check out the menu in advance and enjoy!
