As good as the reviews. We had delicious bruschetta and perfectly cooked calamari to start, and then moved on to the pasta with mushrooms and truffles, which was unbelievably delicious and a salad nicoise with their chocolate for dessert. Absolutely every dish was delicious and our server was really sweet just enough attention and not too much

We were seated at a big table under some speakers and the music was far too loud. The staff did turn the volume down twice but it made conversation difficult. The food was delicious and service excellent.

As usual, my partner and I enjoyed our pizza and soul music at Rubio, the best cafe/restaurant/bar for miles. Compact and warm, friendly and energising - one of our favourite local dining experiences. Happy New Year, Rubio!
